In my line of work, things are either true or false and it's very clear that steps X and Y are needed to produce Z. And so I was a little surprised when it was time to sell my home, as I quickly realized that real estate is a whole different animal. There are countless moving parts and that can be  unsettling when you're enduring such a stressful process. That's where Lia comes in, and that's where her style really shines. She is EXTREMELY detail-oriented and she will be your ferocious advocate (and believe me, after hearing a lot of "maybe"s and "it all depends" throughout the process, "ferocious" is exactly what you need). She was readily available by phone, E-mail, or text any time I needed her. There were no mysterious disappearances, no wishy-washy answers. Her responsiveness was the security blanket I needed. I should also note that she's kind and pragmatic. I'm not a handyman by any stretch of the imagination, yet she didn't bat an eye when I posed plenty of questions that weren't even necessarily in her purview. She guided me through a number of challenges in preparing my home for sale, from the (surprisingly challenging) repair of a single ceramic tile to coordinating the cleaning and staging. The bad news: now that I'm in my "forever home" I'll miss working with Lia. The good news: when it's your turn to buy or sell, now you know who's in your corner.
