Skyline Properties was founded in 1988 by Ron Hennig and Pete Lance on a simple principle: real estate brokers shouldn't give up half their paycheck to commission splits and franchise fees that mostly pay to advertise the brokerage.
Instead, Skyline brokers keep their income and invest it in marketing themselves, while the brokerage provides what actually helps them succeed: training, education, and support from managing brokers who answer the phone.

That principle worked. Two brokers in 1988 became 60 by the end of the year, 200 by year three, and a second Seattle branch by 1993.
Today, Skyline Properties operates five offices across the Puget Sound, in Seattle, Bellevue, Bothell, Kent and Puyallup, each with managing brokers on site.
