Background

Mike has over 25 years’ experience in Real Estate and Finance. He completed his collegiate education at Seattle Pacific University’s school of Business and Economics in 1997. He began his professional career that same year in the mortgage banking industry.

Mike first acquired his Washington State Real Estate License in 1998 and in 2001 opened and operated his own mortgage lending company in Seattle called Northlake Financial Group. As the owner and operator of Northlake Financial Group, Mike hired, trained and managed a staff of loan officers, loan processors and underwriters.

In his career, Mike has closed over 1,000 real estate transactions totaling over half a billion dollars in volume. Mike has also been successful as a Real Estate investor, in which he has worked with strategic relationships to acquire, and rehab distressed commercial and residential Real Estate.

Mike is held in high regard by his clients and peers as an expert in Real Estate investing and finance.

Mike has worked as a financial consultant, and an investor in multifamily private equity funds, and Hilton branded hospitality properties in the Pacific Northwest and southern California. 

Music

Mike is an accomplished musician and songwriter having written and recorded studio albums produced by members of R.E.M. and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London. Mike's music has been broadcast on radio stations nationwide, even charting in top 10 playlists in various sub-markets accross America.
