Why Buyers and Sellers Choose Skyline
A broker who works for you.
Skyline brokers are independent business owners who build their practice on long-term relationships. The broker you work with is invested in your outcome — before the transaction, through it, and after it closes.
01
Your broker. Your advocate.
No quota driving their calendar. No corporate campaign telling them how to market your home. Their business depends on the relationship they build with you, not on hitting a number for someone else.
02
Experience across every kind of market.
1 in 10 homes sold across the NWMLS goes through a Skyline broker. Our brokers have worked through the bidding-war years, the correction years, the slow springs and the competitive falls. That experience shapes how they read a deal, price a home, and advise a client when conditions get complicated.
03
We can work with you in your language.
Our broker network covers more than 45 languages, including Arabic, Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin, Punjabi, Russian, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Working in the language you think and decide in makes a real difference at every step. View all languages →

Phillip Wang was my agent very recently and he was outstanding in every way. As a first-time buyer I was full of questions and confusion. Phil was extremely helpful in being clear about what needed to happen and when, and in finding answers to some unusual questions. I don't think the experience could have been better.

For Brokers Considering Skyline
Built for Brokers, by Brokers.
The Skyline Model
Built for Brokers,
by Brokers.
In 1988, Ron Hennig and Pete Lance started Skyline in Bellevue with two agents and a simple conviction: brokers should be able to keep what they earn and still have access to professional support, training and continuing education opportunities, and a brokerage worth belonging to. That conviction started small. Nearly four decades later, 1,200 brokers operate under it.
01
Keep what you earn.
Skyline offers multiple compensation programs designed around where you are in your career and how you want to build your practice. Whether you are newly licensed and building volume, or a high-producing broker looking to maximize what you keep, there is a program structured for your stage.
02
Run your business your way.
How you market your listings, which tools you work with, how you structure your client relationships: those decisions are yours. Skyline provides the infrastructure. You build the practice.
03
Classes, training, and continuing education.
Ongoing classes and market studies run through each branch office. Pre-license courses, post-license continuing education, transaction workshops, and market-specific training delivered by branch managers and senior brokers actively working the same conditions you are. There is something in the program at every stage.
04
Technology to Help You Succeed.
Skyline's AI platform handles transaction coordination, document routing, compliance tracking, and marketing asset generation. Brokers using it spend less time on administration and more time with clients and deals.
Day to Day
This Is What a Skyline Broker's Practice Actually Looks Like.
The support structure behind your practice — offices, training, technology, branch managers — is built to stay out of your way and be there when you need it.
01
Your relationships stay yours.
Your database, your clients, your referral network. Skyline gives you infrastructure and support without asking you to give up ownership of what you are building. The business you develop here belongs to you.
02
Support when a deal gets complicated.
Branch managers are available for deal-specific questions, contract issues, compliance concerns, and transaction judgment calls. The point is not to manage your practice for you. It is to make sure you are not solving hard problems alone.
03
The platform day-to-day.
Marketing assets — listing templates, social content, outreach materials — are available through the platform without going outside the brokerage. Where you are in your career determines which tools matter most; the platform grows with your practice.

The Market You Would Be Working In
10% of NWMLS transactions is a presence that shows up in the field.
A brokerage involved in thousands of annual transactions becomes familiar to agents, lenders, title teams, and clients across the region. That recognition is built through volume and time, and it shows up in ways that are hard to manufacture: a listing agent who knows your paperwork will be clean, a lender who has closed deals alongside your network, a buyer who heard the name before they ever called.
